Given the discussion on Mike Tyson that we had recently, and given that Benj has clearly pointed out that the review should stick to elements contained in the film, I believe that I need to flag these two films as almost all the reviews are highly inaccurate.
King Kong
Tarzan and King Kong
King Kong in these films is not the great ape that we know of. King Kong is the name of a wrestler. So, while wordplay on the name of King Kong is allowed, refering to monkeys or apes in the reviews is unacceptable and all such reviews need to go. Sorry for bringing the bad news. |

You've obviously never seen footage of Emile Czaja if you don't think he can accurately be described as an ape.
Okay, kidding aside, techinically you're right. But I think he MIGHT have actually played the fictional giant ape in an old Bollywood film, which is how he got the wrestling nickname. That would have to be verified, but if I'm right the reviews are no longer inaccurate because it's already been established that it's acceptable to refer to a character by the name of another character previously played by the same actor. Of course, the reviews might still be Too Generic...I don't know. |
