I was doing the same as AC beofre the flag button was introduced. It was the only way of knowing what you had reviewed. I now have/will remove scores for films I haven't seen.
I tend to do the scoring either as I'm writing my FWFR or when I compose another accolade.
Sort of like doing the dishes as you're cooking a meal ... save loads of washing up at the end!
I don't score films unless I've seen them. I also do a rotten job keeping track of the films I've reviewed, but that doesn't bother me much. I may write new reviews on a film already reviewed if they occur to me while I'm doing others or seeing the film yet again (I'm really bad about watching some films over and over).
