It may have taken time but I'm sure he will tell you that quality is the key for him rather than quantity.

Thanks wildhartlivie and everyone. 
At a certain point in the past, people got into the habit of posting these threads in advance. This took away from the moment itself, so I suggested that they not do this, which I think had lasted until now, ironically.
However, no one noticed when I reached 500, which was a lot more important to me, so I had already planned to interpret any congratulations at 1,000 as being for 500. Therefore, in my case, this thread has not been premature after all. |

I know exactly how you must have felt ;). Unfortunately, I am on a fwfr break and so, celebrations in my case (reciprocation from my side at least) need to be put on hold. |
