Sean's Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt
Sean Says:
Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next. |

Some go to sea, some go to Paris, some go to pot, others not.
Although 4 shouldn't cause you a moment's doubt, look away now unless you really want to know more about the 5th:
This Charlie Chan case sees Nardi, a French nightclub dancer acting as a loose woman in front of a character called Victor Descartes.

I'll be praying these get at least one vote each.
I heard that: The movie It's A Great Feeling is about two guys telling a waitress they'll make her a star for Warner Brother's. The Last Hurrah stars Spencer Tracy as Mayor Frank Skeffingt, who is desparately trying to get re-elected one last time. In 100 Girls Matthew kisses a girl in an elevator during a blackout and then tries to find her the rest of the film. In Stolen Summer (a Greenlight Project movie) a christian boy tries to convert a Jewish kid he meets. And look, that Flushed Away review I was talking about got accepted. |

No newbies, but some oldbie "0"s . . .
Hints (with one spoiler for "Impostor"): The Godfather Part II is told in a broken storyline. It bops back and forth from young Michael Corleone to young Vito Corleone (his father).
John Merrick, the Elephant Man, was shunned by society -- at first -- and uttered the famous line "I am not an animal! I am a human being!"
Two characters in Lords of Discipline are nicknamed "Bear" and "Pig" for unrelated reasons. "Bear" called his men his "lambs".
In the excellent and overlooked Impostor, Gary Sinise plays a scientist accused of being an alien timebomb. He swears his innocence until, well, he explodes! |
