A beautifully understated work from the writer director team that brought us Adam and Paul.
Set at one end of a rural town in Ireland, a town that has been overlooked by the cetlic tiger. Josie (Pat Shortt)works the pumps and treads the water that is his uncomplicated life until his boss hires him an assistant.
Purely character driven it reminded me of The Straight Story and Lost in Translation where the smallest of gestures speak volumes. |
