Ladies and gentlemen,
May I have your attention, perlease?

FRESH MEAT!

Are your nostrils aquiver and tingling as well
At that delicate, luscious ambrosial smell?
Yes they are, I can tell.
Well, ladies and gentlemen,
That aroma enriching the breeze
Is like nothing compared to its succulent source,
As the gourmets among you will tell you, of course.
Ladies and gentlemen,
You can't imagine the rapture in store
Just inside of this door!

Background:
- This week, Diablo Cody won an Oscar for Juno in the Best Original Screenplay category. I think it should have be nominated elsewhere.
- Pixar's upcoming WALL-E has a robot with a very familiar look. Does the phrase "number five is alive" ring a bell?
- Just Like Heaven borrowed its title from a song by The Cure, and it's story from Here Comes Mr. Jordan, Heaven Can Wait, Hello Again, Ghost and probably a lot more films than that.
- Dakota Blue Richards is the lead actress in The Golden Compass. What is it with naming actresses after states? Dakota Fanning, Virginia Mayo, Georgia Spelvin, ...umm ..umm Tennessee Williams?

If I may intrude on FYC for a moment, in honor of the 200th Avatar Contest I'm encouraging as many people as possible to join in the fun and play this week.

Let's make it the biggest av contest ever!

Regarding your Dark Knight review, while I don't think The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus will be considered a comedy - until it comes out, there's no way of knowing if Heath's character laughs in it or not. And they say that the footage they did with Heath Ledger may still be used in the final film - with his character doing a "Doctor Who" and changing how he looks throughout the film, so there's a possibility that your review won't be totally accurate.

I had considered Heath's current project when submitting this review for FYCTH, but since he didn't complete the project I deemed it a moot point.

Of course, I could always re-work my current review to read something like 'Ledger's last post-production Laugh' but that would ruin any alliteration I had going, and I wanna portray to the group a picture of my being quite alliterate...

Since I'm prone to gamble, I'll take a chance that his role as 'The Joker' will be the one lastly remembered by many.

Voted to this point...

And a one . . . and a one . . .

One note: In "Basquiat," David Bowie wore one of Andy Warhol's actual wigs to portray him. It had been left to Bowie in Warhol's will.

Wouldn't that make Bowie Warhol's hair apparent?

Not that it matters much, but what Richard Harris did in Camelot couldn't really be called singing. The closest he got was more like, semi-melodically reciting lyrics.

(So far, so good!)
