Here it is; and, just for you, it comes complete with third-rate fanboy ramblings, too.

Nice bit of visual deconstruction, Ali!
Saw the trailer for this a couple of days ago ... it certainly promises to pack a punch or two. Harrison seems to be aging well, and the look'n'feel of the production evokes past eras with a blast of the new.

We'll see!

He has aged rather well, I'll have to see this one on the big screen. (I paid for Die Hard 4 and Rocky Balboa, certainly I owe Han Solo the same loyalty)

quote from George Lucas interview:

"The MacGuffin of it slowed down a little bit from what my original enthusiastic version was They wanted to go off on some other tangent. I said, 'I'm not going to do that. I'm going to stick with this no matter what, so we either do this or we don't. That's it.' Finally, we got something that we could all compromise on and all be happy with. It wasn't quite as wacky as I wanted it to be, but it still is subtle and nice and works really well and has the same idea behind it."

really makes me wonder what kind of boneheaded idea he had.

I am excited they are opening a new Imax theater about 2 miles from my house and rushing to get everything finshed so they can debut with I.J.!

Incidentally - Shia Lebouf hosted SNL this week and I found it really funny that they made references to Jonathan Ke Quan in 2 separate sketches - once as 'Short Round' in the opening monologue and another time to his character 'Data' from Goonies - I pointed this out to my wife who thought I was a supreme geek for noticing such trivialities.

NBC.com has parts of it.

I think its pronounced "SHY-uh Leh-BUFF"

No mention of booty traps - unfortunately. Basically Shia and and his buddies got busted for shoplifting so they bring in a guy from the state pennitentiary to "scare them straight" - he is telling them stories of various crimes he's committed, but they were mostly plots of silly movies including "Weekend at Bernie's", "Goonies", and "Gone in 60 Seconds".

I had the same thought when I saw it -- what are all those people doing there?! The fedora is perhaps even more dominant than you say -- it is neither (significantly) cropped nor given space above it, giving the impression that the primary objective was to squeeze all of it into the picture and only then allocate remaining space to more minor characters.

However, I'm really looking forward to the film now -- so glad that the dire Connery is not in it.
