I think you misunderstand me. I can't deny his humanity, intelligence nor that he did some very nice things for Israel. What I'm saying is, what he did for Israel wasn't because of his love for Israel or even Jews in particular, or even that his last wife was Jewish. His motivation for doing what he did was on a much deeper level than that. Your story shows that beautifully, and reducing this film to puns on his songs that include the word "Jew" just seems insensitive to me. |

Probably. If you notice, my review for that film is about the only one that doesn't pun on one of his songs. |
