There Will Be...uhhh...

Notes for two lesser-known films:

1) Gunner Palace follows U.S. soldiers living in Uday Hussein's former residence.

2) The Diving Bell and the Butterfly features a paralytic man who dictates his memoir by blinking an eye. (P.S. If you have the chance, check out BaftaBabe's and Ro¢kG01f's nice reviews, too.)

For those who haven't heard of it yet, Tropic Thunder is the 'war movie' comedy in which Robert Downey Jr. 'blacks up'.

Welcome to the FYC [matt]! You got 5/5 from me!

(So far, so good - and I'm thrilled that all mine have at least one vote without the benefit of hints!)

Are you just pimping your own review here Sal? I only ask because usually you point out identical precedents in this way. The similarity between these reviews is slight and easy to come up with given the titles. I don't think anyone has exclusive rights to a pun idea, particularly when it's fairly rudimentary.

I intentionally made no particular comment.
I don't usually post identical precedents in this way -- I cite their I.D. numbers and numbers of votes, and certainly don't make the named links light-hearted.
I don't think the similarity is slight enough that many who would want to vote for turrell's review wouldn't also want to vote for mine.
Obviousness of a pun is of no relevance to whether multiple instances should be kept, not that I raised that issue.
