For those who haven't heard of it yet, Tropic Thunder is the 'war movie' comedy in which Robert Downey Jr. 'blacks up'.

Welcome to the FYC [matt]! You got 5/5 from me!

(So far, so good - and I'm thrilled that all mine have at least one vote without the benefit of hints!)

Hey, thanks a lot! Loved yours again this round, you got 4/5 from me only because I have no idea what Reposession Mambo is about. Especially liked your Snow White one, I looked at the other reviews for it and yours is totally original as well as funny!

I don't usually post identical precedents in this way -- I cite their I.D. numbers and numbers of votes, and certainly don't make the named links light-hearted.
I don't think the similarity is slight enough that many who would want to vote for turrell's review wouldn't also want to vote for mine.
Obviousness of a pun is of no relevance to whether multiple instances should be kept, not that I raised that issue.

So you're pimping then?

You think Lemmy needs to try just a little bit harder?

Ah, few would know that. Eric Garcia wrote this one (look him up, he's a friend and a very funny, creative writer). Its about a time when people buy transplant organs on credit, and when they can't make the payments, guys ar sent to recollect... well... the organs themselves! Sounds wild and I hope I can get to see it. I liked that review because, it puns on the themesong from Titanic, which is your ultimate disaster movie (in more ways than one), and I can't think of any personal disaster worse than having the heart you got as a transplant being repossessed.

Haha oh right thanks, I get your review now. That's a hilarious premise for a movie! I agree, having an organ repossessed would kinda suck.

Sated. Mmmm.

Lots of 3/5s this round again. Surprised [matt]'s first Hunchback review didn't get a few more though. "Minging" means ugly in Brit slang. Great review.

I totally agree, that guy's review is totally genius. A truly seminal piece of work. I can't believe it hasn't received more votes!
