Once again, a MERP has changed my review.
This is just stupid. Ok ok ok - it's the smallest of changes, but it matters to me. Benj ... can't you just tell the MERPs to leave the reviews alone and just deal with passing or declining them? I really HATE the fact that they can alter them to their whim.
This one is, as I said, I tiny tiny change. But it annoys me.
For the film '100 Cum Shots' I submitted ....
sperM
Note: the only capital letter is 'M'. I'm trying to draw attention to the 'M' because it's the Roman numeral for 1000.
The MERP who passed my review has made the 'S' capital too. So now it looks like this:
SperM
And once again, I don't want to alter it, resubmit it and risk having it rejected.
Gggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

Before you get all scrambled, egg, maybe you should ask benj if it's his software which automatically capitalizes every initial letter in a review. [It certainly places a period at the end if you don't, as it evidently did for your review -- that is, if you're quoting your submission precisely.]
It just might be that no MERP altered your brilliance at all... |

I think the software auto-capitalizes the first letter.
You can ask Benj nicely to over-ride it.
Hang cool fellah!

Yes, that is automated. You can change it back yourself, as I recently did with "cuM". |

Yup- automatically done. The poor MERPs don't know a thing about it- they see it capitalized from the off. |

I sense a heartfelt apology coming for the oft-maligned MERPs. Well? |

Good spot JTC, but the film is actually called "1000 Cumshots" and the above appears to be a typo. Otherwise the review could have been "Cperm" and it would have been correct with capitalization and all. |

I'm sooooooooooo soooooorrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyy, MERPs. (is that heart felt enough??)
I'll go change it. Editing capitalization doesn't cause a re-submit, does it?

Nope capitalization doesn't cause a resubmit?
Or nope my apology to the MERPs isn't heartfelt enough?

Change to capitalisation doesn't cause a resubmit. It instantly goes through.
But, you seem to have such a bad time at fwfr that I'm wondering why you're still here... |

A question I ask myself almost everyday. The answer is provided by an old Turkish proverb: "Alm, kudurmutan beterdir." Which can be loosely translated as "Being accustomed(to something) is worse than being rabid." |

Hi Sean
I'm still here because I find the FWFR website a really good "15 minute brain workout" ... just the same as doing the teatime crossword puzzle or playing a speedy game at www.scrabulous.com
I've always enjoyed anything which gets the grey matter ticking over without taking up huge amounts of time.
I love the concept of FWFR. I also love puzzles, riddles, puns, rhymes, awful jokes, clever word play, anagrams etc etc etc ... and of course, I love MOVIES.
I don't love the MERPs.
Although sometimes I do - when half a dozen of my reviews get accepted without being edited in a 24 hour period. Doesn't happen often ... but sometimes.
Hope this helps answer your question,
Boydegg

And what would it be tightly translated?
