I did enjoy your cheese slices, [matt], but I didn't get your pie reviews. (I don't know much at all about the American Pie movies.)
Oh right, perhaps I should have explained the plot of the Pie movie! Basically it features a naked run across a college campus. (I thought the "Streak Pie" review might make this clear.)
I guess it was a bit silly of me to say I didn't know about the Pie movies. They probably all have the same basic plot. I know that the first features a deflowered cherry pie, but hopefully no pies were harmed in the sequels!
I'll double your "Streak Pie" vote count.

One of these films starred Fess Parker. Four of them didn't.
And one of them couldn't have raised any objections had it been rejected with 'Title play only', but I guess the MERPs prefer to apply that to films whose titles actually describe them.
And now it's the top review for its film despite bearing no relationship to the plot (other than mentioning the location). Amazing. |

No, I don't care how many votes it has; that's just an interesting point of note. I don't vote myself based on whether a review passed rightly. I just think it's inexplicable that this one passed given the number of incorrect 'Title play only' rejections. |

No, it isnt inexplicable.
Many such reviews get passed all the time, and many get rejected.
Thats called inconsistency.
Also theres nothing inexplicable that you have chosen my review to make a fuss about.
Thats called malice.
For proof of malice, see below.

Something being common (not that it is that common) does not mean it is not inexplicable.
My attention was drawn to that instance primarily because it is a particularly bad case and secondarily because you are always whinging about decisions which go the opposite way. I call it whinging because it can hardly be considered a principled stance when you are happy to get title play only reviews through whenever you can. Please feel free to provide some evidence of malice, i.e. name any equally bad title play only review that has been through the treasure hunt and which I have not objected to, let alone one by someone who whines about that issue as much as you do.
It's just this kind of review that is probably making the MERPs imagine that there are title play only submissions all over the place. |

Umm... actually the location of the film is Australia. That's close to the Carribean, right? |
