Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt

Sean Says: We're BACK!
Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

When I was living in the USA I loved Oreo cookies - dark chocolate cookies with a pure white, vanilla frosting filling. But I also remember people using the word "oreo" as slang to describe Afro-Americans who acted like they were white, meaning they were dark on the outside but white on the inside. A fitting metaphor, don't you think? And perhaps, it would also be appropriate for an Afro-American who becomes the transplant recipient of a white man's brain. At least, that's what I thought.

I thought it was a fair metaphor as well

-------------------->4 newbies and one for Sunday's Best Picture winner.

Background:
  • The titular Bill W. was the founder of Alcoholic Anonymous.
  • I hope you've all by now seen the preview of Pixar's summer 2009 release Up, cause otherwise you're gonna get the completely wrong idea from my review. You can view the trailer here. Go ahead... I'll wait....
  • Back already? Looks good, doesn't it? So anyhow... The voice of Coraline is provided by Dakota Fanning. In the film her family have just moved from Michigan to Oregon. I love it when the geography works out right.

Jar City revolves around a decades-old set of events, including (possibly slight spoiler, here and in the review) a mother's suicide. I guess I won't try to explain the British reference in the review!

Choke features a crowd of old ladies in a mental institution.
