Spoiler:
The father Ted Danson is white and it is a term apparentley used in the states to discribe a child of mixed black and white race, I am not sure if it is a politically correct term,I believe that it's not.
I just checked on urban dictionary and it is the sixth listing, and yes I know that urban dictionary is not the best source but in this case it was the first place I checked, at submission time and now!
Cheers

- The voice of Coraline is provided by Dakota Fanning. In the film her family have just moved from Michigan to Oregon. I love it when the geography works out right.
Both awesome. |

Josh, despite what some of the MERPs think, I totally agree that Urban Dictionary is fine for checking the spelling and meaning of slang that doesn't appear in a standard dictionary.
However, (spoiler) she is not mixed race -- it turns out that Danson is not her father. |

Very nice GoodFellas one.
Thanks, Salopian. Same for your Lakeview Terrace one.
V&V.
PS. I guess I should have provided notes for The Third Man, which follows Harry Lime's longtime friend Holly as he tries to solve the mystery of Lime's death, and for White Dog, which is about a dog that is trained to attack black people. Probably too late now, though.
