How can a film featuring Kristin Kreuk spinning around with her legs in the air be so...DULL! It didn't even work as a workaday Chop-em-up. Instead it plodded along with all the tension of broken elastic. My guess is that the script was written in mandarin and translated by Babel Fish.

The join the dots plot is a very tired rehash of the revenging warrior finding themselves. KK does her best but mostly looks like she has trapped wind. Theres some tired looking wire work. The only highlight for the male audience is when KK has to act in a lesbian fashion to trap a female villain ( not at all gratuitous ! ).

Meanwhile Michael Clarke Duncan looks suitably embarassed at playing a thug/gofer and Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas proves that rapping is his forte. The ( unintentional ) laughs at Neil McDonough's fey accent at least some return for the audience. He would appear to be a very camp Scotsman but its hard to tell.

Even if you having a Beer and Pizza night this movie fails to deliver on any level. Avoid.

JCVD's "performance" in Street Fighter - The Movie looks like Olivier compared to this!
