Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Some like 'em hot from the fwfr oven

A few things you may not know:

> Cheers for Miss Bishop unfolds as the reminiscences of an old woman.

> Robert Altman's first film was a sports short.

> Starry Night transplants an earless impressionist to California.

> There's a slight teensy minute spoiler in the last film on the right -- as if you didn't know.

Shall we give this another try, then? Let's see if my new review for Beginners can get at least one vote.

(For those who don't know, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower was inspired by the book "Catcher in the Rye", and Hugo Pool stars Melissa Milano as a pool cleaner who falls for one of her clients. Finally, The Nuisance is about a less than savory lawyer to tries to get money out of a light railway accident [and I'm a bit surprised that no one got my pun on the famous Tennessee Williams Play which was made into a movie staring Marlon Brando].)

lemmy in for #743.

The Viking--Donald Crisp plays Leif Ericsson.Check out that wild moustache.

The Prizefighter and the Lady--Heavyweight fighter Max Baer makes his acting debut as a fighter and does a credible job, unlike most pugs who try acting.

Cry 'Havoc'--A virtual all female cast--nurses stationed on Bataan coping with the war in the Pacific.

Arena--A 3-D rodeo film starring Gig Young and you're wondering why you never heard of it?

Where Eagles Dare-- Don't Clint and Dick look spiffy in those German officer uniforms?

Foolishly missed the voting deadline for #742, so I've delivered five extra votes to those who'd altered their reviews by the time I got round to it... mea culpa.

The Great Herzog

NB:
The uneventful occupation of the island of Kos during WW2 by the Germans sends a young soldier insane in "Signs of Life".
"Land of Silence and Darkness" is about the blind and deaf.
Steiner is a sculptor and unmatchable ski-jumper.
"Lessons of Darkness" is about the Kuwait oil fires and the attempts to extinguish them at the end of the first Gulf war.
In "The Wild Blue Yonder" the alien narrator states that his race "suck".

Holy Hell, I take great pride in my ability to spell and whatnot, but I missed that one. Thanks for reporting it. Did you also include a note saying, "How did this jackass get so many reviews thru, considering...?"

The character played by Peggy Cass (after whom a certain someone took her name, which I didn't know at the time of writing) gets pregnant.

Frank Goode is a widower trying to reconnect with his children.

Spoiler for The Next Three Days in the rightmost review.
