I'm in.

Most are self explanitory, but I thought I'd explain some of the literary allusions ...

Bicentennial Man is based on an Isaac Asimov story and stars Robin Williams as a robot. Asimov's most famous work was I, Robot.

In Merchant of Venice, based on the Shakespeare play, the characters convert and humiliate a mean-spirited Jew. Shakespeare also wrote a play called The Taming of the Shrew.

I asked that the spelling be corrected in the appropriate thread. But Benj is just one man and can't do everything at once.

The other way is to Edit them yourself, and write something like "spelling correction" in the explanation box. That way they'll definitely go through, although not necessarily immediately.

A double V to here...

A bit disappointed so far, I'm wondering whether people are holding off voting till the weekend or my reviews are a little obscure.

Just in case it is the latter:

Audition: (****spoiler!!!****) After the lead character places an add to ultimately find himself a wife, the young lady he chooses cuts off his feet with piano wire. Your basic love story really.

Dead Ringers: Jeremy Irons plays identical twins who sleep with the same woman. Basic golfing knowledge then applies - 2-iron would be a type of club, birdie a term describing a number of strokes under par.

The Thing: In this superlative science fiction blood-fest the alien shape-shifter arrives into the outpost disguised as a dog.

Another look?

Special thanks to Lemmycaution who helped me with my McCabe & Ms. Miller review in another thread. Lemmy, Im giving you five votes as a token of my appreciation. So go ahead and post five really crappy reviews.

Why change after all these months?

Although my 'Deliverance' review isn't too bad.
