That's what patronisers always think.

Luckily, I needed patronising Never seen that film yet...am I missing out?
Yes, darling - run do not walk to your nearest copy. The songs are classic, legendary - and should twinkle in your brain for quite a while. The performances are terrific. The dialogue - ah, the dialogue. Based on Damon Runyon - so if youse like dat kinda t'ing ... you will like this film. Or else.

I second this emotion. On of my favourites, despite Brando's attempt at singing.

(Got everyone so far.)

5/5 from me. Your GoodFellas one is great (maybe not technically accurate, but close enough); shame about the film.

Use double quotes("), not single(').

Well, use primes rather than quotation marks, if we're being exact.

Do you get a direct line to Barbra Streisand on one of those?

In Shanghai Noon, Roy O'Bannon repeatedly identifies himself as a cowboy. Polari is a form of gay slang that was particularly used in the 1960s.

I don't like the falsification and trivialisation of the story.

Done & dusted to here. Will return for stragglers.

Thanks for the votes, folks. Nought to double figures in two days is enough to put a smile on my face.
