By never having seen what doesn't sound like a very good film?

Five cinema classics

NB:
The 1920 "Hamlet" stars Asta Neilsen
"Bicycle Thieves" was one of the first Neo-realist films.
"Rashomon" has a murder/rape case recounted from four different viewpoints.

Edit: and just in case it's not clear... the robotic Star Trek villains The Borg state (ad infinitum) that 'resistance is futile'.
In "Wild Strawberries" the old doctor Borg's memory is sparked by the titular berries.

Waitaminit! We have to see the films we review? Why are we held to a higher standard than Roger Ebert?

Predicting how many votes one would get and for what reviews seems to be a risky business. In my consideration set this time, I thought the one punning on "Shock and Awe" and the one punning on the Naked Gun Series would do well. Surprise! The other reviews have done even better. And one of my friends says, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."
